My friend Rachel over at my good friend Mark’s (below) apartment for breakfast.
Cell phones are being called the next polaroids. I’m not sure how I feel about that. Maybe the propensity towards snapshot photography that comes with the medium is what merits the comparison but I think not having a tangible image to share is crucial. Even though you can email it to another mobile device, I’m not sure if its the same thing. Time will tell.

I just downloaded an application for my IPhone that simulates polaroids. It saturates and tones the image to replicate the instant film feel. Actually churns out some pretty neat images. For more interesting images taken with this application check out NY Times photographer Todd Heisler’s photos.
